Have you ever noticed when you time-travel to the past, and change anything, when you come back to the present the Nazis won WWII? I swear, it doesn't even matter if you only travel back to 1970! The damn Nazi's somehow win! Not only did they win, but they instituted a military occupation of the United States that continues to this day, without once updating their 1930's era uniforms! And it's always rainy! That part's really whack, but whatever. Guess it shows off officer trench coats to good effect. Nazis are a great punching bag for easy ridicule, and with this quiz, we celebrate it! Achtung! Vhere are your papers!?

Charlie Chaplin was doing a clear parody of Hitler in "The Great Dictator," and that movie well have been the first Hollywood film in production mocking him. However, because of the relative quickness of making a short, another comedian can claim the honor of being the first parody of Hitler *released* to mainstream American audiences. What comedian portrayed a (nameless, but clearly Hitlerish) dictator in "You Nazty Spy?"
What fictional character has been redacted from this image?
Homer Simpson once called the Third Reich "the (blank) of the History Channel." What exhibition basketball team fills in the blank?
An alternative history miniseries, "The Plot Against America," imagined that a President Charles Lindbergh, Nazi sympathizer, kept the USA out of WWII and allowed the Nazis to win! Based on the book of the same name, what author of "Portnoy's Complaint" wrote this 2004 novel?
The meme that, in an online debate, the probability that one side will compare the other side to Nazi's/Hitler approaches 1 as the number of posts increases, is given the name (Blank's) law. What name fills in the blank, which is also the (married) name of 18th century British feminist Mary Wollstonecraft?
I swear to God it makes me want to spit. In an episode of "The Twilight Zone," (original run), a guy decided to travel back in time to 'fix' a lot of stuff. One of the failed fixes involved him going back to a Hitler speech where he planned to assassinate Hitler from a hotel across the way from the balcony where Hitler spoke. He had his cross-hairs *on Hitler* when he didn't take the shot because SOMEONE KNOCKED ON HIS HOTEL ROOM DOOR. I kid you not. If you haven't seen this episode, it's likely because it was aired during what season of the series that did one hour length episodes instead of half-hour, so they don't fit easily into syndication? (I beg you, give me a number between one and however many seasons you think "The Twilight Zone" aired, I don't want years like "the 196x-196y season).
A late night host of American television, in his memoir, recounts his (long, because it requires A LOT of setup) experience wherein he deejay-ed, with no malice intended (in fact it was supposed to celebrate diversity) a gig at a Jewish school with dancers non-ironically encouraging one of their fellows with outstretched arm saultes and cries of "Go Hitler! Go Hitler!" What comedian lived that multicultural communication fail?
In 2016, a female Jewish comedian appeared on Conan O'Brien's show as Hitler, taking exception to being compared to Donald Trump. Who was the comedian (comedienne)?
A famous forwarded email of yore posited (forgive the lack of formatting): Question: It is time to elect a new world leader, and your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates: Candidate A: Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He’s had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day. Candidate B: He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening. Candidate C: He is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn’t had any extramarital affairs. Spoiler! Hitler is choice C. Name either of the other candidates (A or B)
Submitted for your approval: a song with the opening lyrics (ignoring the onetwothreefour): "I'm a shock trooper in a stupor yes I am/ I'm a Nazi schatze/ y'know I fight for fatherland" What person, who was born in Germany but met his bandmates in New York City, wrote this song (originally called "I'm a Nazi, Baby" before the band's label "encouraged" them to change it? Need full name, or...you know what? Just first name is acceptable, as long as you use his stage name.
The very first episode of a terrible 1980's anthology series featured a story where a guy using a crystal radio in 1981 was able to contact the u-boat that sank his dad's transport ship in WWII. Whoops! Somehow, saving the transport ship (and his dad) led to the Third Reich prevailing, occupying American soil, and continuing the military occupation in those same (admittedly classic) 1930's Nazi uniforms. What was the name of the show (which sounds like a room important to photography before digital photography came about)?
The 2014 film "Er ist Wieder Da" (Look Who's Back) examined a world in which (spoiler!) Adolf Hitler comes back and thrives in contemporary German politics. The actor who portrays Hitler shares his first name with what protagonist who was the first Charles Dickens protagonist to have his first name in a title (in other words, it ain't "The Pickwick Papers"). By the way, go watch "Look Who's Back" on Netflix.
