On Thursday, September 21, 1989, these two colleges took part in what was known as the "Hugo Bowl," as it was played live on ESPN while Hugo raged across SC and GA. Both Div I-AA, at the time, one team is now in the SunBelt while the other is in C-USA. (The picture is more of an illustration of how bad it was than anything else. I mean, you can kind of see the uniforms, so there's that bit of help).
