This sport is a bit unusual in that it is usually played by either teams of 8 females, or teams of 4 males and 4 females. Invented in the Netherlands in 1902, this game descends from a Swedish game called ringboll, and it was an Olympic demonstration sport in 1920 and 1928. In this game, players are assigned to particular halves of the court (zones) which they cannot leave (and must be male-male/female-female matchups). Players can run within the zone, but cannot advance while in possession of the ball. Identify this game, perhaps the funniest sounding sport in history, that looks a lot like basketball, if the baskets were placed on top of poles located well away from the out of bounds line.
