This sport was in the Olympics from 1900 to 1920 until it was permanently replaced by weightlifting, and remains a part of the World Games (the Olympics for sports that have been excluded from the Olympics). It was a major US collegiate sport until football caught on in the 1880s. In this sport, "locking", when a competitors elbows are lower than their knees, is considered a foul.
