Question 8

Originally called "Russian hockey", the modern version of this winter game originated in Britain. While in most respects it resembles ice hockey, this game differs by putting 11 players on the ice for each team, denying a stick to the goalie, using a ball instead of a puck, and playing on a surface much larger than an ice hockey rink (about 100 by 50 meters). Name this winter sport, supposedly only second among winter sports to ice hockey in terms of international participants in the world, even though US participation is very small outside of Minnesota.
