At a match in Munich, Germany in 1994, Big Van Vader ripped his ear off. During his Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker in 1998, he fell 16' from the top of the cage into the announcer's table, got off the stretcher with a dislocated shoulder and climbed back to the top of the cage, where he was choke slammed through the top of the cage, falling again to the floor below. He also participated in USO shows to entertain the troops overseas (I saw him with The Undertaker in Iraq in 2004; he was dressed as Santa.)
