On April 12, 1862, this 4-4-0 locomotive was stolen as its crew ate breakfast in the town of Big Shanty. The ensuing chase to recapture it became known as "The Great Locomotive Chase." It shares its name with a 1926 Buster Keaton comedy depicting the same events (sort of).
