CHRIS MISSED out on a Grammy in 1981 when her band lost to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. But that didn't matter when she and The Pretenders were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
