In 2009, this man went on a protest hunger strike, and as such was force fed until he chose to stop. A career criminal, one story says that he converted to Islam to get better prison food. Born in London, this man came to notoriety when, on American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami, he attempted to detonate explosives concealed in his shoe, (something made difficult from wicks that were wet from walking through water and/or sweat) earning this man the sobriquet "The Shoe Bomber". Identify this not too bright al-Queda operative who is serving three consecutive life sentences plus an additional 110 years in prison, without possibility of parole.
