From 1976-77, Trebek hosted THIS GAME SHOW on CBS. Mirroring "21" with its isolation booths, contestants had to give answers to one sentence clues with very little physicality or challenge, if at all. In the final round, the champ went against the "Spoilers," a group of PhDs in hopes of winning the grand prize.
