Two answers required. Which pitchers started Game 2 of the 1956 World Series, only to allow a combined 10 runs in 3.1 combined innings? (Brooklyn beat the Yankees, 13-8.) One of them pitched much, much more successfully in Game 5 of that series; the other had earlier become the first black pitcher to start a World Series game.
