The unseen decorations of Snoopy's dog house were a running subject in the strip. In September 1966, tragedy struck and his dog house burned down, destroying all his possessions. Two answers required: Snoopy's painting by which 19th century artist was destroyed? Snoopy then replaced it with a painting by what 20th century American artist. I assume both were originals.
