One of the more shocking upsets in the category came in 2004 when the Oscar winner "Lose Yourself" (from 8 Mile) and the projected Oscar winner "The Hands That Built America" (from Gangs of New York) both lost to "A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow", which garnered three people Grammys, none of whom are primarily composers or songwriters. Name any one of the three people who walked away with Grammys for "A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow": one was the film's director, and the other two starred in the film (and frequently collaborate with the director) in addition to writing the song.
