When the band that wrote this song played it in concert, fans used to throw boxes of Kraft Dinner (i.e., what Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is called in Canada) on stage. Eventually, the band started a "Those in the know, don't throw." campaign to encourage fans to donate the boxes to local food banks instead.
