From April 3-4, 1974, a series of storms known as the Super Outbreak produced 130 tornadoes from IL all the way down to GA. Over 30 F5 twisters were formed by these storms. This OH town had the deadliest of all the F5s produced that day, killing over 30 people and wiping out most of the town.
