The origins of the Olympians usually begin with WHAT PRIMAL EARTH GODDESS, before whom, according to Hesiod, there was only Chaos?

WHAT GOD was identified by Hesiod as the fourth-oldest god in existence? He became younger in subsequent stories; Aristophanes identified him as a son of the night goddess Nyx, later Greek accounts made him a son of Aphrodite, and his Roman counterpart Cupid was often portrayed as a child.

The goddess from Question 1 married the primal sky god Uranus, and then persuaded their son Cronus to murder and castrate his father. Uranus's testicles were thrown into the sea, which produced a white foam that became WHAT DEITY?

Cronus and his sister/wife Rhea ruled over a golden age, until his mother told him he was fated to be overthrown by his children, just as he overthrew Uranus. Accordingly, Cronus sought to devour his six children -- Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and WHAT GODDESS who is usually overshadowed by her more famous siblings?

Zeus slept with her anyway, knocked her up, and (learning nothing from Cronus's fate) attempted some retroactive birth control by swallowing her whole, later suffering tremendous headaches as a result.

Zeus's headaches became so severe he asked his son from Question 6 to smash him in the head with a hammer. This he did, which caused WHAT CHILD OF ZEUS to emerge full-grown from Zeus's head? In armor, no less. (Fortunately for Zeus, she turned out to be female and thus not the prophesied son.)

Zeus also knocked up the mortal princess Semele. Hera tricked Semele into forcing Zeus to appear in his true form, destroying her with lightning. Zeus took the surviving embryo and implanted it in his thigh, later giving birth to WHAT GOD of fertility, theater, and wine and the youngest of the major Olympian gods?

Zeus also disguised himself as Amphitryon of Thebes so he could bonk Amphitryon's wife Alcmene. Amphitryon himself slept with Alcmene that same night, causing her to bear fraternal twins with different fathers -- Amphitryon's son Iphicles and WHAT DIVINE HERO (and future husband of the goddess in Question 7) who was originally named Alcides?

Not every later divine origin involves Zeus sleeping with women. Described by Homer as "the loveliest born of the race of mortals", WHAT SON of King Tros and a river nymph was swept up to Olympus and rewarded with immortality and eternal youth when Zeus decided to try batting for the other team for a while?
