These days, it seems Brent has become the "dirty old man" of sports broadcasting. Nowhere was this obvious when he made the following comments about THIS WOMAN: "I'm telling you, you quarterbacks get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow."
Brent is now calling Saturday Night games on the SEC Network alongside this former Florida QB/"Bachelor" star. Watching these two call a game should be a violation of the 8th Amendment.
Brent even has some acting skills under his belt. To stretch his acting talents, he played....wait for it....a college football sportscaster in THIS COMEDY alongside Dan Fouts and Lynn Swann (the former of which always liked to remind Brent "it's the last game of the year.")
Brent provided the voice of THIS CHARACTER from "Cars 2" and "Planes."
In 1968, Brent wrote an article criticizing the well documented actions of THESE TWO ATHLETES. In it he said they "looked like a couple of black-skinned storm troopers" who were "ignoble," "juvenile," and "unimaginative." To this day when one of them tries to approach Brent, he goes the other way to avoid him.
Brent hosted "The NFL Today" alongside THIS noted Las Vegas BOOKIE and analyst, who got into trouble once for some comments he made about black athletes. His relationship with Musburger was strange to say the least.
On April Fools' Day 1990, CBS fired Brent Musburger. His last job at CBS was to call the 1990 national basketball championship game between THESE TWO SCHOOLS.
The next three questions all deal with those people who replaced Brent after his April Fool's 1990 firing. First up, major-league baseball on CBS. Brent's job was given to THIS Legendary BROADCASTER for the St. Louis Cardinals. We need the first and last name.
Next up: "The NFL Today." Brent's hosting job was given to THIS CURRENT HOST who also has a well-known brother who works for a different network. We need the first and last name.
Finally: the Final Four. THIS BROADCASTER took over for Brent and has been calling the games ever since.
Brent begins every broadcast with THIS PHRASE more or less to tell the folks at home where they are.
Brent graduated from this B1G school's Medill School of Journalism, but not before being kicked out for a year because (of all things) operating a car without a license. When College GameDay went there in 2013, he was naturally their guest picker.
