Be sure to name the film that won for that year and not the film that won at the ceremony held during that year. For example, if I gave you an event that happened in 2000, the correct answer would be Gladiator, which won Best Picture for 2000 at a ceremony held in 2001, and not American Beauty, which won for 1999, though the ceremony was held in 2000.
