"It's morning in America...." for those of you old enough to know that line, you probably thought you had magically been transported back to 1984 (and its blowout of a Super Bowl) and was watching a Reagan ad. Then the ad got a little weird (cross shaped Washington Monument, anyone?). You then realized you were seeing an ad for this TV show's upcoming season. (edited at 6:15 am, February 4, 2019 (PST))

In a rather humorous ad, a woman driving a minivan has to keep telling the "kids" in the back she will separate them if they don't behave. They continue and she finally turns around and threatens to eat them. Then you see they're M&Ms and no cannibalism was involved. Who was driving the car?

In what is being considered the best ad of the night, over 40 NFL legends took part in the League's 100th anniversary gala. Then chaos ensued when Marshawn Lynch (who was only there so he would not be fined) knocked the football off a really tall cake. TWO ANSWERS REQUIRED: In pretty much the only overtly political ad of the night (that I at least noticed as I was so focused on the game- yeah right), this actor trumpeted the need for and the work of journalists throughout American history. What actor and what newspaper were highlighted in this ad? In retrospect, it was probably in the actor's film contract to do it.

Who knew beer ingredients would start a Twitter war? It seems Bud Light was throwing some shade at other beer companies for using this product in their beers. This, in turn, caused the council associated with this product to tweet back, start a war, and have a poor fellow named Allen Miller (@MillerLight) get caught in the crossfire. Good times.

In an ad for receipt saving app Expensify, this rapper schools a record executive (played by Adam Scott) in the ways of the app before he drives off in his ice car (because we all know rappers are all about the ice).

Yes folks, that footage was real. In an ad for Burger King, what well known artist was seen simply eating a Whopper and barely dipping it in ketchup? The footage was part of a film in 1982 called "66 scenes in America."
