There's an argument that the most famous NBA Draft Bust of all time is Serbian big man Darko Milicic, in part because of the stars who were drafted around him. Milicic was drafted 2nd overall in 2003; name ALL FOUR MEN drafted 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th in that draft, who have made a combined 47 All-Star games so far.
His first name? Nikoloz. His draft year? 2002. His draft selection? Fifth. His career? Not so good. CORRECTLY SPELL THIS MAN'S LAST NAME
The Candy Man can, but the Kandi Man couldn't. Where did Michael Olowokandi, number one overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft and lifetime averager of 8 points and 7 rebounds, attend college?
Anthony Bennett was drafted first overall in 2013, but is already out of the league. Amusingly, he shares half his name with the 2012 #1 pick and his (non-US) nationality with the 2014 #1 pick. NAME BOTH THESE MEN
Jay Williams was drafted second overall in 2002, and had a promising, if sloppy, rookie year. WHY (specific reason required, e.g. not just "injury" if a particular injury is the answer) DID HE NEVER PLAY AGAIN?
Sacre bleu! The New York Knicks thought they were getting their next star big man when they drafted THIS EUROPEAN 15th overall in 1999; unfortunately, he never played in the NBA and is much more famous for being dunked ON than any play of his own.
Writer and famous benchwarmer Mark Titus shared the court (well, they were on the court; he was mostly on the bench) at Ohio State with three top-five NBA picks: a point guard who was drafted lowest of the three but has had the best career, a swingman nicknamed "The Villain", and an injury-riddled big man who has unfortunately become an all-time example draft bust. NAME ALL THREE MEN
It might be rude to call him a draft bust, as he is the Golden State Warriors' all-time leader in blocked shots with 1140. But he could reasonably be said to not have lived up to his draft selection, especially since the man drafted right after him was Tracy McGrady. NAME THIS CENTER, probably the best Patriot Leaguer in the NBA between David Robinson and CJ McCollum.
When the answer to this question was drafted 6th overall in 2011, he open-mouth-kissed his girlfriend on live television and answered a suggestion that he could be the (player's nationality) Blake Griffin with "maybe [Blake] is the American (his own name)." Unfortunately, his play didn't live up to his swag; he last played in the NBA in 2013-14, and ended his career with a mere 590 points. (and 384 fouls!) NAME THIS FORMER WASHINGTON WIZARD (and briefly Denver Nugget)
Every NBA lottery pick in the 2000s, no matter how much of a bust, has seen at least some NBA action. Every one, that is, except WHICH MAN, who was drafted 11th overall by the Orlando Magic in 2005 but elected to remain in his native Spain, where he plays to this day?
Royce White was a star at Iowa State, but has played only three NBA games since being drafted in 2012. WHAT SPECIFIC FEAR OF WHITE'S, brought on by his anxiety disorder, contributed to his difficulties sticking the landing in the NBA?
The author of "Court Justice: The Inside Story of My Battle Against the NCAA" played two disappointing years in the NBA, but is much better known for his successful class-action suit against the NCAA over its use of former players in commercial enterprises. NAME THIS UCLA GRADUATE AND 1995 9TH OVERALL PICK.
