Quiz Description

This is the third in a series of quizzes inspired by the recent Learned League question in which players were asked to name a state from a list of some of its counties. It was noticed that some of the given names were not unique to one state, while others were. Actually, somewhat under half of the 3141 counties or equivalents in the 50 states have names that are unique among the list of county names. You will be asked about some of them. Just identify the state that has a county with the provided name. Quiz 3 focuses on counties whose names might suggest they're located somewhere else, either in another state, or even another country. If the county shares a name with a state, do not go with your first instinct ; it will most likely be wrong. Note that or the purposes of these quizzes, parishes in Louisiana and boroughs in Alaska are considered equivalent to counties.
