Given an event that actually happened, name the television show that was effected - either by episodes not being aired or the show being cancelled. Please note: the cancellation may not have happened immediately following the event, but the event was a major contributor. For example, if the event is "Larry Hagman dies", the answer would be "Dallas".

Two students go on a rampage in their high school in Littleton, CO, killing twelve students and one teacher. This show's episode "Earshot" was not aired as scheduled because it dealt with a character gaining the ability to hear other people's thoughts, and she thought she heard a classmate planning to shoot up the school.
During a contentious Hollywood divorce, the wife releases tapes of a counseling session where her husband admitted to molesting underage girls. The tapes were made in 2012 and released in 2014. The husband had played a minister on this show from 1996 through 2007, with the show continuing in syndication until the news of his confession went public - then the show was quickly removed from the air.
An assistant district attorney in Texas shoots himself in the head when the police show up to arrest him for having sexually explicit online chats with (what he thought was) an underage boy. The show that was cancelled after his death normally did not go to homes, usually it set up a decoy in a rented house and waited for the suspect to stop by and "have a seat right over there."
In 2005, Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten runs a comic featuring the prophet Mohammed as a terrorist, leading to protests and terrorist threats against anyone publishing images of Mohammed. Mohammed had appeared (without controversy) in this show's episode "Super Best Friends", but the network no longer re-runs that episode, it's not available on the show's website, and it is not included on Season 5 DVDs sets in certain regions.
A woman shoots her husband, an actor and cartoon voice master, then shoots herself. The murdered actor was replaced and the show continued for one low rated season before the show was cancelled and the characters left for New Hampshire.
A police report surfaces showing the eldest child in the family molested younger siblings and a babysitter. The reality show based on the family's life was immediately pulled off the air and officially cancelled two months later, almost a month before the guilty sibling was caught in yet another scandal and sent to rehab for his porn addiction.
After a night of drinking, a man, his uncle, and a friend go four wheeling in the mud. They sleep in the truck, the trunk sinks into the mud, covering the exhaust pipe, and everyone dies of carbon monoxide poisoning. Production of the show the man was part of is halted immediately, eight days later this "Appalachian Jersey Shore" is cancelled.
A woman's mutilated body is found in Santa Cruz, police are able to identify her from the serial numbers on her breast implants. Police name her husband as a suspect, and immediately the reality show he was a contestant on was pulled off the air. He was later found dead in a Canadian hotel room, his chance at a future with a Rock of Love reject over.
In 1993, a five year old sets fire to his trailer in Ohio, killing his sister and prompting the network to pull an episode of this show from rotation because it dealt with fire. Fire references were removed from subsequent episodes, re-runs, and the DVDs. When the show was revived in 2011, fire references were frequent, as well as the standard shout-outs to Metallica and AC/DC.
The Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City closes its doors, days later the media gets a surveillance video from inside a Revel elevator showing Ray Rice knocking a woman to the floor, leading to his suspension from the NFL. If Rice had had a reality show, he would have lost that too, just like fellow NFL player Chad Johnson. Johnson's reality show was cancelled in 2012 after he was arrested for domestic violence, name the show.
In 1997, seven men file a lawsuit claiming the star of this show molested them when they were younger. No official charges were filed but PBS cancelled the show anyway, maybe because the cook's catchphrase "I bid you peace" would lead to many bad "piece of what?" jokes.
The idea for this quiz came the same day as a television reporter and her cameraman were murdered during a live broadcast.
