My buddy KanyeWesteros made a quiz of songs he thinks are "hella long." Well these are pulled from the longest tracks in my tunes library. I hope you guys know your prog rock.
Name the song. Or, you know what, name the artist. Or hell, even name the album. (Some of you might now guess the same band for everything, and that's not the worst strategy, except that no artist is repeated.) I'm gonna give credit if you're even close. These are obscure.
Note: Correct answers will display in the format "SONG TITLE," ARTIST (ALBUM)

We are the priests
Of the Temples of Syrinx.
Our great computers
Fill the hollowed halls.
(20:33, 1976)
Medicate me;
Infiltrate me.
Side effects appear
As my conscience slips away.
(24:00, 2005)
There's Winston Churchill dressed in drag;
He used to be a British flag.
Plastic bag! What a drag!
The frog was a prince;
The prince was a brick;
The brick was an egg; the egg was a bird!
(22:53, 1972)
Don't just sit there wasting your time on the phone!
Don't be with that skank 'cause it hurts to be alone!
And you swarm around like bees to the hive,
And you look a man in full, but you're half alive.
(30:59, 2000)
Really don't mind if you sit this one out.
My word's but a whisper; your deafness, a shout.
I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.
Your sperm's in the gutter; your love's in the sink.
(22:40, 1972)
Hanging at the mast,
Waiting for command:
His majesty's airship,
The R-101.
(18:01, 2015)
Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources,
Chased amid fusions of wonder
In moments hardly seen, forgotten,
Colored in pastures of chance.
Dancing leaves cast spells of challenge;
Amused but real in thought,
We fled from the sea
Whole.
(22:37, 1974)
Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air,
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves,
The echo of a distant tide comes willowing across the sand,
And everything is green and submarine.
(23:29, 1971)
I am the catfish man!
I can't hear you!
Go ahead and have a nice day now;
Go ahead and say what you say now.
I stand Humanus erectus;
Stand back, hahahaha!
(15:33, 1995)
And so the wind will cry the words of love,
And you'll design the day you're thinking of.
Now so much wiser, so much more in tune,
We'll take the stars, the sun, but first the moon.
(31:02, 2002)
[No lyrics, just a punkass concoction of wild trumpet playing.]
(27:00, 1969)
Outside it was blue and green;
Everything once blurred was clear.
We were part of the peripheral scene
That shone like cathedral glass.
