1853- THIS PRESIDENT ELECT and his family were involved in a train crash in Massachusetts. He survived but his son Benjamin was killed. Some think this incident led to his ineffectiveness while in office.

1540- Henry VIII married THIS WIFE. The "Flanders Mare" line most likely came from a painting making her out to be better than reality showed. She's the second "divorced" in the rhyme to remember Henry's wives.
