For the better part of a decade, I've been a part time trivia host at a few local bars, and have written a couple thousand trivia questions for these events. Our regulars are in general above average trivia players, but nevertheless, every now and then a question stumps everyone. Whether it's because the question was particularly difficult, the crowd was particularly small, or everyone that night was particularly dim, I can't say. But I thought this would be a good place to give them another go, as we have a lot of fiendishly smart people, as well as a wider audience. Beyond having a 0% get rate when I initially asked them, there is no category or theme to any of these. See if you can outsmart my regulars. [Note: After the first few rounds of this quiz, my suspicions are confirmed that these are often particularly difficult questions. In general they are meant to be; we work on a progressive difficulty level system in each round, and these are almost always late-round questions for a particularly smart crowd. Nevertheless, if I were to rewrite some of these old quizzes today, I would probably alter many of these questions to give more of a clue (an opinion I held on many before posting them here, but a bit more so now).]
