The end goal of the trip was to visit THIS THEME PARK. It's name is now a euphemism for a noted retail giant.

The film is based on the short story "Vacation '58" written by THIS NOTED DIRECTOR. He did not direct "Vacation" but did sign on as Producer.

Speaking of which...THIS MAN directed National Lampoon's Vacation.

This was THE NAME of Aunt Edna's dog that Clark forgot to bring back in the car and dragged halfway across Colorado but not before he peed all over the sandwiches.

THIS ACTRESS played Aunt Edna. Her most famous counterpart from the 1950s program "You Show of Shows" also played a character who died from old age in "Vegas Vacation."

THIS ACTRESS, in her first major film role, played Cousin Vicki, whose French Kissing techniques were well received by her father.

THIS ACTOR played Lasky, a guard at Walleyworld. The Moose out front shoulda told ya.

Perhaps the most endearing aspect of all the "Vacation" film was the song "Holiday Road" as performed by THIS SINGER also known for his work alongside John and Christine McVie.

Ever the cracker jack forensic scientist, Ellen deduced that Aunt Edna must have died somewhere near THIS CITY IN ARIZONA.
