Was surprised recently to see that there are only 10 Llamas in the state of Utah (?!). In an attempt to bridge the gap between cameldom and that state's predominant religion, I'm offering this quiz. The intent here was to make this broad and accessible to all (i.e., you shouldn't have to be super well-versed in Mormonism to be able to answer these). Also, in the questions the abbreviation LDS = Mormon.

Upon reaching the Salt Lake valley, what "Mormon Moses" (purportedly) announced to his followers "this is the place," signaling to Mormon pioneers that their westward journey was over?
According to the LDS church, as of 2015 there were just over 2 million church members living in the state of Utah, more than any other state. Which US state has the SECOND-highest number of LDS church members?
Some Mormons see parallels between LDS singer Brandon Flowers' lyrics and church teachings (e.g., "I need direction to perfection"). Of what Las Vegas alt-rock(-ish) band is Flowers the lead singer?
Although recorded as a revelation by Joseph Smith in 1833, actually observing the "Word of Wisdom" (as Mormons refer to it) was not required of church members until the early 20th century. Name two things that the Word of Wisdom forbids doing (either in modern LDS practice or as originally communicated by Smith).
In the Book of Mormon (the book of LDS scripture, not the musical), a Nephite earns the favor of a king by cutting the arms off of would-be thieves. In January 2016, a man named after him was incarcerated in Oregon. What is the Nephite's name?
Near the end of an episode of a currently-running TV show, a spurned Mormon character states, "You're so high and mighty you couldn't look past my religion and just be my friend back. You've got a lot of growing up to do, buddy. Suck my balls." To what regularly appearing character was this comment directed?
In version 5.1 of what popular 1980s software package, originally developed at the church's flagship university, did the F10 key result in saving a file, Alt+F9 in entering graphics mode, and Shift+F7 in printing a document?
The National League has been pretty good to LDS baseball players. In 2015, clown question non-answerer Bryce Harper won the NL MVP. Two other members of the Mormon church have won the NL MVP, one doing it for the Braves twice (1982, 1983) and the other doing it for the Giants (2000). In addition, another LDS church member won the Cy Young while playing for the NL's Pirates in 1960. Name any two of these other three LDS baseball players (hint: Barry Bonds is not Mormon).
Paraguay-born Charlene Wells Hawkes worked for seven years as a reporter for ESPN, covering events ranging from horse racing to lumberjack competitions to college football. According to Wells Hawkes, when ESPN originally interviewed her, they were unaware that she had won what competition in 1984? (edited at 4:54 pm, March 29, 2016 (CDT))
The LDS church administrative structure is in some ways similar to that of the Catholic Church. What Catholics call a "diocese" is roughly equivalent to a Mormon "stake"; a Catholic "parish" is similar to a Mormon "ward". What title, also used in the Catholic leadership hierarchy, do Mormons give the person in charge of a ward?
Former LDS church president Spencer W. Kimball said that "every young man should serve a mission"; others have told missionaries that their service is the "tithing of your life so-far". When young Mormon men are called to serve full-time missions today, for how many months are they called to do so?
Whitney, Idaho-born Ezra Taft Benson, who would eventually become the 13th president of the LDS church, served from 1953 to 1961 in the cabinet of US Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower. Which cabinet post did Benson hold?
