Celebrating my first quiz with participants in the double digits, here is my first sequel. Given an event, name the film that won the Academy Award for Best Picture for the same year that the given event happened. Be sure to name the film that won for that year and not the film that won at the ceremony held during that year. For example, if I gave you an event that happened in 2000, the correct answer would be Gladiator, which won Best Picture for 2000 at a ceremony held in 2001, and not American Beauty, which won for 1999, though the ceremony was held in 2000. Just name the film and not the year (as a correct film but incorrect year would be an incorrect answer), but I will provide the year with each answer. Enjoy!
