Interstate 75 starts at the International Bridge that connects a pair of cities, one in Michigan, one in Ontario, which bear a French name meaning "the rapids" of the river bearing the name of this Catholic saint.

The only Interstate highway in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I-75 departs the UP via this bridge, the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western hemisphere.
