According to Dennis Green, the reason his team took the field against the Bears was because "the Bears are who we thought they were" (apparently contractual obligations were not considered a real "reason" to take the field ... Green is a smart guy, and may have been looking for an existential reason to take the field, who knows?) Anyhow, which team was Green coaching when the Bears erased a 20 point deficit in the second half of a 16 October 2006 game for the historic 24-23 win, prompting one of the great rants in history.
