Six composers have scored at least 10 nominations for their work, and all of them except two have won at least 4 trophies. Name the now deceased composer who went 0-for-14 in the Original Score category, despite scores for A Streetcar Named Desire, Spartacus, Cleopatra, and The Shoes of the Fisherman. In 1986, he became the first composer to receive an honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement. Would he have won had his score for 2001: A Space Odyssey not been replaced by Kubrick? Who knows?
