If you had asked me to tell you what song Billy Idol hit #1 with, I would definitely pick 1982's "White Wedding." But I would be wrong. Instead, it was THIS SONG, a cover of a 1968 song by Tommy James and the Shondells. Idol had originally covered the song on his 1981 album Don't Stop but a live version hit the top spot in 1987.
