Following a 1976 playoff game, Don Saleski, Joe Watson, Bob Kelly, and Mel Bridgman were taken to a Toronto police station, processed, and charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a hockey stick. Watson and Kelly pleaded guilty and were fined while all other charges were dropped.
