This interviewer had an eponymous show that has been on and off the air from 1968 to 2007, with his show being aired on PBS from 1977 to 1982. This man was known for interviewing many people whom others wouldn't or couldn't interview, including Katherine Hepburn, and Jimmi Hendrix (and while this man did interview John Lennon, no one named Forrest Gump appeared on the show). A performance by Jefferson Airplane on this man's show is believed to be the first time the word "fuck" was said on American television. Identify this interviewer who supposedly made Nixon's enemies list after airing a debate between two Vietnam Vets in June, 1971, one of whom was a young John Kerry, and the other of which was John O'Neil, the later founder of the "Swift Boat Veterans for 'Truth'".
