THIS AUTHOR of a many American History best sellers was accused of lifting whole passages and sentences from a book for his 2001 "The Wild Blue," a book about WWII bomber crews....and 1975's "Crazy Horse and Custer"...and 1991's "Nixon: Ruin and Recovery"....and 1997's "Citizen Soldiers." It didn't matter in the end since he died a year or so after "Wild Blue" came out.
