[Highway 90] The section of Route 90 that passes the Dead Sea is the lowest road in the world. The highest road in the world is often disputed since "motorable pass" is hard to define. For instance, a sign along the Khardung La in India indicates that it is the highest motorable pass, but a land vehicle was once used to reach the crater rim of Ojos del Salado, a massive volcano (much higher in elevation than Khardung La) that straddles the border of THESE TWO SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES.
