The Inti Raymi, or "Sun Festival," is held in the Southern Hemisphere on the day of the Winter (to them) Solstice. It is a holdover from THIS ANCIENT CIVILIZATION'S religion. Banned in 1535, the ceremony was brought back as a theatre production in 1944.
